Look west in the evening sky, and you’ll find two bright points of light: Venus and Jupiter. They’ve been moving toward each other for weeks, and their June 9 conjunction is the transit of the month.
Will it solve everything? No. This is a season of disruption—old systems and structures are under pressure, and some things that once felt reliable are shifting. Even so, this conjunction can bring relief. Expect some ease, warmth, or good fortune in at least one area of life.
This month I’m trying something a little different. Instead of covering the full month at once, I’m focusing on the first two weeks now and will follow up with more guidance around the New Moon on June 14. I’ve also included short horoscopes for the Venus-Jupiter conjunction, so keep scrolling!

June 1-6
Mercury entered Cancer on June 1, joining Venus and Jupiter in the same sign. Normally, Mercury moves through a sign in 3 -4 weeks, but this summer it lingers in Cancer until August 9, held back by its retrograde phase from June 29 to July 23.
In astrology, Mercury rules information, communication, travel, and commerce. Influenced by the fast-changing Moon all summer, Mercury in Cancer will be more emotionally reactive than usual, and more changeable in expression. Expect more misunderstandings, delays, and reversals. Stories may evolve and facts can change. People (including yourself) may be more prone to shifting positions or second-guessing decisions.
Mercury’s first test comes today (Wednesday, June 3) as it squares Neptune. Squares create tension, and Neptune dissolves clarity. Stay flexible rather than force conclusions this week.
Your move: Use this time to gather information and clarify your own thoughts and feelings. Make decisions if you need to, but allow for the space to change if that becomes necessary.
June 7-13
The week’s central event arrives Tuesday, June 9: Venus and Jupiter meet in Cancer while Mercury forms a tense square with Saturn. These two contrasting energies set the tone for the entire week. One is sociable, expansive, and warm. The other is demanding, structural, and sober. The most pleasant window is Sunday-Monday (June 7-8), when the Moon passes through Pisces and softens the mood.
Your move: If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to take a step—reach out, say yes, ask for commitment—this week to support it. At the same time, Mercury square Saturn suggests caution and discernment. Read fine print, be honest about what you can deliver, and don’t promise more than you’re ready to deliver.
Transit of the Month: Venus conjunct Jupiter in Cancer
In traditional astrology, Jupiter is called the Greater Benefic, the planet most associated with good fortune. It governs growth, abundance, and expanding your horizons through learning, travel, philosophy, and cultural exchange. Where Jupiter touches your chart, things tend to open up.
Venus is the Lesser Benefic, governing love, beauty, and pleasure. She rules close relationships, including romantic partners, close friends and creative collaborators. She also represents activities and events that bring delight, such as art, music, dance, and other sensory experiences.

Both planets also shape social norms and shared values. Jupiter sets the broader ethical and cultural standards of society. Venus maintains the interpersonal codes that hold relationships together. When they meet, there’s a reset in what people collectively value and find beautiful. A new tone emerges for what is considered good, worthy, and desirable.
Because this conjunction occurs in Cancer, the Moon’s sign, it’s filtered through whatever the Moon is doing. On June 9, the Moon is in Aries, moving toward Saturn. Mercury is also squaring Saturn that same day. This means the good news Venus and Jupiter bring may come with conditions or responsibilities.
