Saturn takes us from structure in Capricorn to system in Aquarius. They have similar locations according to William Lilly. Aquarius represents extremes of high, rugged places and low, disturbed places (like mines, quarries & freshly dug holes). Aquarius also “bears water” and correlates with places directing water flow—like springs, waterfalls or faucets.

I wrote an article in The Evolving Astrologer magazine (March 2024, p. 16) about how Aquarius can be understood as the hydrologic system, and the quality of Fixed Air as clouds.
On the human body, Aquarius is primarily responsible for the lower legs, shins and ankles. It also bears partial responsibility for the circulation (flow) of blood and oxygen.

Some of the most intuitive people I know have strong Aquarian placements, especially Mercury in Aquarius. Maybe they are sensitive to energy currents—or maybe it’s expert pattern recognition. Either way, they are masters of subtle intelligence that informs action.
Perhaps we are all enrolled in a Masterclass on Aquarius as Pluto transits through, joined by the North Node mid-2026.
Warm wishes to you,
