Midway through the 12 Holy Nights, here is Gemini, a mutable air sign. I picked up a friend (with natal Sun in Gemini) from the AIRport.
When you consider locations, Air signs are associated with places above ground level. Think AIRY, with access to air and light, including vertical furniture like a chest or a bookshelf.
If it’s a multistory building, the upper floors would be Gemini (or Libra or Aquarius). Office buildings, rooms and areas near office or communications equipment are firmly in the Gemini camp.
For some reason, paneled rooms also are linked to the sign of The Twins. My guess is because there are two layers to the wall. My old office had two paneled walls, was on the top floor of a 6-story office building and included floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the levee. So Gemini!
Mercury rules two signs: Gemini and Virgo. The sign of Gemini is considered more young and playful, and also linked to physical spaces where games are played.
Moving down the body, parts associated with Gemini include the lungs and the upper limbs, everything from shoulder to fingers. It is linked to some senses and the voice, and influences the respiratory and nervous systems. Like Aquarius, circulation through the body is also a Gemini function.
