12 Holy Nights

In December 2020, I participated in a webinar with renowned astrologer Melanie Reinhart about The Twelve Holy Nights Ritual, which she does every year during the winter holidays. It inspired me, and I adopted it as part of my own contemplative process during the cold stillness of Capricorn season.

I invite you to come along as we close out 2024 and enter 2025.

Starting December 24, I will share my insights and reflections, describing one zodiac sign each day for 12 days. We will begin with Capricorn, which is the sign of my own Ascendant and Moon.

What can you expect? I’ll share some astrological knowledge along with my personal thoughts and stores. I may include poetry, excerpts from literature, images, and illustrations - my own or from other artists with permission.

My hope is that sharing this ritual expands our awareness, yours and mine, of the zodiacal belt as a living process. That perhaps we finish on January 6 with a greater appreciation for all the parts of ourselves and the people around us.
